Common questions

Do visitors need to install an app?
No. Visitors just scan the QR code with their phone's camera and a web page opens. They never download or install anything. Only residents and trustees use the QRXS app.
How do visitors call a resident without seeing their phone number?
Calls route through the QRXS app, not over your personal cellular number. The visitor sees the resident's chosen display name; your real number is never exposed to them or anywhere in the system.
What happens if the resident isn't available?
Visitors can leave a message, and the resident can respond when they're back. You can also delegate to other residents or trustees to handle calls when you're away.
Does QRXS replace our existing gate motor or boom?
No — QRXS is the intercom and visitor-management layer. Your existing gate hardware (motors, booms, magnetic locks) stays. We can integrate with most modern gate controllers; ask us about your specific setup during a demo.
What happens to existing QR codes if we restructure units?
Each QR code is tied to an asset (gate, unit, building) in your dashboard. You can reassign residents to assets without reprinting the QR. Only if you physically restructure the site do you need new QR plates.
Where is the data hosted?
On our own infrastructure, not on a third-party platform that sells data. Visitor logs, resident directories and call metadata stay private to your property.
